Abstract

Megaspores of five Indian species of Isoetes., viz., I. coromandelina, I. indica, I. panchananii, I. tuberculata and I. rajasthanensis have been studied under light microscope and scanning electron microscope and Sem and compared with those of modern Salaginella and dispersed fossil megaspores.
