Two new monosulcate pollen genera, viz., Kapurdipollenites and Retiverrumonosulcites are identified from the subsurface Paleogene sediments near Kapurdi and Jalipa, Barmer District, Rajasthan. Kapurdipollenites is a zonisulcate pollen having verrucate, baculate or gemmate exine. Retiverrumonosulcites is monosulcate with verrucate or clavate exine. These pollens show affinity with those found in some members of Arecaceae.
