Abstract

The paper contains the stratigraphic and chronological distribution of platyspermic gondwanic seeds in the countries and regions, viz., Brasil, South African Republic, Zaire, Mozambique, Madagascar, Argentina, Antarctica, Australia, and India. Among the species reported, 33 belong to the genus Samaropsis, 12 to the genus Cordaicarpus, 4 to the genus Cornucarpus, and 2 to the genus Alatocarpus, and 1 to the genera Nummulospermum and Eucerospermum.
