Abstract

A morphological study of the genus Assamialetes has been carried out and its genetic diagnosis has been emended. Various taxonomic changes, through which Proxapertites and Assamialetes have undergone, have also been discussed. Further, in order to understand these genera, a comparative study of the allied taxa has also been done.
