The fossil flora of the Jabalpur group - 1. Ptilophyllum institacallum n. sp.

Ptilophyllurn institacallum n. sp. is characterized by its thick lower cuticle with cells having variously shaped papillae. The stomata are irregularly scattered over the lower cuticle which shows no distinction between stomatiferous and non-stomatiferaus bands.
