Abstract

A miopore assembleage containing 23 genera and 42 species from the Ganjra Nalla Beds of the Johilla Coalfield, Madhya Pradesh is described. The genera Rugasaccites, Pachysaccus, Gondwanopollis and Rimospora are newly instituted. The stratigraphical position of the Ganjra Nalla Beds is briefly discussed in the light of the plant micro and macrofossil evidences.
