Abstract

The genus Gangamomopteris McCoy is an important constituent of the Glossopteris flora. Several views have been expressed in past for its specific delimitation but none of them have so far been proved to be very satisfactory. In the present paper some suggestions are proposed for the specific delimitation of the genus on the basis of external morphology of leaves.
